Uday Chopra Fan Club
Uday Chopra is the son of Yash Chopra (legendary director & producer) & brother of Aditya Chopra; He has been assistant director on a number of his father's & brother's movies.
He made his debut under the Yash Raj films banner in Mohabbatein where he was directed by his brother. This film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, & four other debutantes. The film did well at the box office.
Uday has mostly done films under his father's production house. He starred in the action thriller Dhoom and starred in its sequel Dhoom 2. Together with his brother Aditya Chopra, Uday helps to run Yashraj Productions, and plays a major role in the Information Technology and digital rights management of the company. Before making his debut in Mohabbatein Uday produced Yeh Dillagi starring Akshay Kumar, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan. It was directed by Naresh Malhotra.
After Mohabbatein he appeared in films like Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hain, Supari and Charas. His childhood friends are Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan.
Both Aditya Chopra and Uday Chopra stayed at Girnar Apartments in Pali Hill Bandra Mumbai. Recently it was reported that Uday Chopra will go into directing films like his father and brother however there has been no official confirmation of this. |
