Vijay Singh Deol popularly known as Bobby Deol he was born in Mumbai to a legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur. His older brother is Bollywood star Sunny Deol. He has two step-sisters Bollywood actress Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. His step-mother is the Bollywood Dream girl Hema Malini.
Bobby Deol married Tanya Ahuja and has been blessed with two sons. His eldest son's name is Aryaman, his second son was born November 2004 and was named Dharam after his grandfather. Actor Abhay Deol and Sagar Deol are his cousins.
When he was 10 years old he made a very brief appearance in the 1977 movie Dharam Veer where he played the younger Dharmendra. He made his debut as a leading man in Barsaat which was produced under his home banner Vijeyta Films for which he won a Filmfare Best Debut Award.
His recent releases are Naqaab, Apne and Nanhe Jaisalmer. In Apne he appeared with his father and brother together for the first time. |
