Esha is the first daughter of veteran actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, half-sister to actors Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol, and cousin to actor Abhay Deol. Her younger sibling, Ahana is planning to enter Bollywood as a director.
She attended Jamnabai Narsee School, where she excelled at soccer. Esha studied in the Jamnabai Narsee School, excelled at football, then went on to attend Oxford University and obtained a Masters Degree in Media Arts and Computer Technology.
She is also an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer and was trained by her mother, who is a famous exponent of that particular dance form herself.
She is one of the rare Indian actresses to sport a toned look for which she gives due credit to her dance lessons & her Barbarian Gym. |
