Born in one of the most illustrious families of Bollywood ,one thought Karishma Kapoor, daughter of Babita and Randhir Kapoor, had all doors would open to her automatically,but she had to go through her share of hardwork, patience, pitfalls, perseverance. 

Exploitative that the film industry is, Lolo, as she is fondly addressed, wasn't spared from taking the brunt. There were vulgar dance numbers, revealing clothes and the rest of the publicity gimmicks that Karishma did which probably otherwise she would not have looked at. She was ambitious and wanted to prove to the world of her capabilities, so she waited with patience,which paid off in the long run.
