Shreyas Talpade is an Bollywood actor. He was born in Mumbai, and attended Shree Ram Welfare Society's High School. He is married to his wife  Deepti, & currently lives in Lokhandwala, Mumbai.

Shreyas started out acting in many Marathi soap operas & doing stage shows across Maharastra. He debuted in Bollywood with Nagesh Kukunoor's Iqbal  in which he played the role of a deaf youngster aspiring to be a cricketer. The film and his performance were well-received by audiences & critics alike.

His next film was Nagesh Kukunoor's Dor in which he played the comic role of a behroopiya, a man with many disguises. This film was also well-received. He also starred in the comedy, Apna Sapna Money Money, he was seen in the thriller Aggar, the campus flick Dil Dosti Etc. Farah Khan's blockbuster movie, Om Shanti Om, Nagesh Kukunoor's cross-cultural comedy film, Bombay To Bangkok.

He is currently working on Golmaal Returns, the sequel to the hit comedy Golmaal and Sangeeth Sivan's horror flick, Click. He was recently signed by Shyam Benegal for his upcoming film Mahadev. He is also producing a Marathi comedy film, Kaande Pohe.
